Mr. Schofield is a member of Kirton & McConkie's Business Litigation Section. He specializes in mediation and arbitration, commercial litigation, and appellate litigation. Mr. Schofield joined the firm in 2007, following his retirement as a trial court judge of the Fourth District Court, State of Utah.

Experience Extensive trial experience as a general jurisdiction trial judge for 14 years handling every type of trial including complex civil litigation, capital murder, felonies, domestic relations, and probate Practiced as a shareholder and director at Ray, Quinney & Nebeker for 13 years specializing in commercial litigation and creditor bankruptcy litigation, primarily representing banks and other lenders Experience in mediating commercial and domestic matters (certified mediator) Served on the Utah Judicial Council for 3 years including one year as Chair of the Management Committee and Vice Chair of the Council.
