Dr. Ralston is a member of Kirton & McConkie's Intellectual Property Practice Section. His practice specializes in the acquisition and management of patent and other intellectual property rights. Dr. Ralston joined Kirton & McConkie in 2007.
 
Experience
  • Patent preparation and prosecution for domestic and international protection of inventions in the fields of wireless communications, signal processing, electronics, computer systems and networking, software, semiconductors, micro-electromechanical-systems, optics, audio-visual equipment, and others
  • Opinions concerning validity and infringement of U.S. patents
  • Prior engineering and management experience in the defense and commercial telecommunications industries. Key roles in the development of a major satellite defense system and multiple commercial wireless products
  • Co-inventor of three issued U.S. Patents
