Mr. Wallace is the chair of Kirton & McConkie's Risk Management & Insurance Defense Practice Section. His practice concentrates on federal and state litigation. Mr. Wallace joined Kirton & McConkie in 2003.
 
Experience
  • Major litigation in both federal and state courts in civil rights, tort, professional malpractice, fraud, insurance, commercial, and employment law
  • Almost exclusive civil litigation practice, 1984 to present, including significant appellate work
  • Former Chief Trial Counsel, Utah Attorney General's Office, handling major trials involving the State of Utah, its agencies and employees
  • Former Chief Criminal Deputy, Utah Attorney General's Office, prosecuting multi-county frauds and white collar crime; directing investigations; handling appeals of criminal cases; and advising state agencies
  • Former Special Assistant United States Attorney, for prosecution of a major fraud case investigated jointly by the FBI and the Utah Attorney General's Office
  • Former County/District Prosecutor for all types of crimes from capital homicide to misdemeanors
  • Gubernatorial Appointee to the Utah State Procurement Appeals Board, 1994-2000
