    Intellectual property lawyer Ken Horton is presenting a the second seminar in a four-part series at the Small Business Development Center at Salt Lake Community College. The first seminar will focus on the basics of trade secrets: What are trade secrets? How can trade secrets be protected? What rights are granted from a trade secret? How can I get, maintain and protect trade secrets? How can trade secrets be enforced?

  • Deciphering FMLA, ADA and Worker's Compensation Issues
    June 12, 2013

    Kirton McConkie litigation attorney Ryan Frazier will present at the National Business Institute (NBI) seminar on advance employment law. He will focus on topics such as what the law really says about ADA, FMLA and Workers' Compensation and how the three interact with each other and state laws, updated  ADA policies for the ADAAA, tips for drafting policies to work together, troubleshooting complex leave of absence Issues, drafting policies for medical leave, knowing when and how to settle federal and state claims.
