Kirton  McConkie is pleased to announce the firm’s Real Estate, Corporate/M&A and Energy & Natural Resources/Water practices were ranked in the annual Chambers USA Guide to America's Leading Business Lawyers 2014.

REAL ESTATE:

According to Chambers USA, the Kirton McConkie real estate practice is known for its “Broad expertise across a range of commercial, industrial and residential projects with particular know-how in respect of commercial leasings. Advised OneFourteen on several matters pertaining to a shopping center, including its development, construction and leasing. The matter involved securing two substantial loans from separate lenders and negotiating leases with several tenants.

Represented Ninigret Depot on its $12 million acquisition of an industrial park. Assisted the client on negotiations and the subsequent entity formation.

In addition, Craig Realty, Aclaime Group and Maverick Group were new client wins. Significant clients include The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, The Thackeray Company, Ivory Homes, Deseret First Credit Union, Sorenson Family Development.

Read Hellewell: “Noted for his financing work in connection with commercial transactions and for advising on condominium projects. He recently acted for Hillsboro Hotel I and Hillsboro Hotel II with respect to the construction of two Hilton hotels in Hillsboro, Oregon. The matter included the acquisition of land, franchise agreements and finance arrangements.”

William Meaders: “Practice includes financing and leasing, often in the industrial and retail spaces. He represented JD Bowerman Investments in its procurement of a $13 million loan from American United Life Insurance.”
