Kirton McConkie has an exciting employment opportunity for an associate attorney to work in its Intellectual Property practice group. This position requires at least one year of experience with patent prosecution matters.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and prosecution of patent applications.
- Handling a diverse mix of transactional patent matters.
- Interact in writing and verbally with clients and patent examiners.
Qualifications
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ethics, be highly motivated, hard-working, and be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Member of the Utah Bar, or be willing to take the Utah Bar Exam. If not currently a member of the Utah Bar, applicants must be a member of the Bar of another U.S. state.
- Registered Patent Attorney, or be willing to take the patent bar exam.
