Overview

Mr. Sundloff is in the firm's Litigation and Real Estate sections, with a particular focus on the construction industry. He represents owners, contractors, sureties, developers, design professionals, and material suppliers in a variety of legal matter from litigation, land use, and liens to commercial business issues and transactional matters related to construction and real estate development. Mr. Sundloff is a licensed landscape architect with several years of practical experience working in the design, construction, real estate development, and transportation industries. He is a member of the Kaysville City Planning Commission where he participates in the commission's review of land-use applications related to conditional use permits, rezone requests, subdivision plats, and other municipal matters. He also currently serves on the executive board of the Utah Nursery and Landscape Association.

  • Represents owners, contractors, sureties, developers, design professionals, and material suppliers in construction matters regarding contracts, payment issues, delays, changes, mechanic's liens, defects, and other construction-related disputes.
  • Represents parties in all varieties of construction projects including commercial, industrial, residential, and mining.
  • Represents clients in all aspects of litigation in state and federal court as well as administrative agencies and municipal bodies.
  • Performs all aspects of contract creation, review, and negotiation of a wide variety of construction and commercial contracts, including general contracts, master subcontracts, work order, service agreements, EPC agreements, purchase and sale agreements, credit agreements, non-compete agreements, change orders, and other construction-related documents.
  • Represents sureties in litigation and administrative proceedings related to payment bonds, performance bonds, alternate-security bonds, and environmental reclamation bonds.
  • Experienced in a variety of real estate matters and transactions, including due diligence, entitlements, planning and zoning, land use appeals, contracts, and leases.
