Overview

Theo Smith is a member of the firm's Corporate section, where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions, business contracts, entity formation, antitrust HSR filings, public securities SEC and FINRA compliance, corporate finance and private securities offerings, licensing, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

Mr. Smith is also a member of the firm's International section, where he focuses on EAR and ITAR export controls compliance, U.S. Treasury OFAC sanctions, the FCPA, imports, commercial trade agreements, foreign entity formation and governance, international manufacturing and licensing agreements, international regulatory compliance, and data privacy.

Mr. Smith currently serves on the board of governors of 47G and the board of directors of Stepping Stones International. He speaks Mandarin and has lived in Beijing and Taipei.
