Overview

Debtor Rehabilitation and Bankruptcy: Jeremy is a member of Kirton McConkie’s Litigation Section with an emphasis in Bankruptcy.  His creditor bankruptcy practice focuses on protecting creditor rights in all bankruptcy proceedings, including secured creditors, landlords, vendors and general unsecured creditors.   His debtor bankruptcy practice includes filing bankruptcies under all chapters of the bankruptcy code from a simple personal bankruptcy to a complex company bankruptcy.  Jeremy is also one of the few Utah attorneys who has filed and completed an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors. 

Trial and General Civil Litigation:  Jeremy is an experienced trial attorney inside and outside of the Bankruptcy Court.  Jeremy has represented clients involved in litigation and/or arbitration in a variety of disputes, including but not limited to:  quiet title actions, boundary disputes, real estate commission disputes, foreclosure proceedings, partnership disputes, and fraudulent transfer recovery. 

Creditors’ RightsJeremy has worked in all aspects of creditor and debtor disputes on both sides of the aisle, including loan documentation review, assignments for the benefit of creditors, workouts, collections, foreclosures, bankruptcy and receivership defense.

Mr. Sink is recognized as one of Utah’s Legal Elite for Bankruptcy/Workout Law 2015, 2016 and is also recognized as a Mountain States Super Lawyer.

Experience

Prior to joining Kirton McConkie, Jeremy spent 16 years representing three different Chapter 7 panel trustees in all aspects of Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases.
