Overview

Mr. McCann is a part of the firm’s Litigation Section, in which he handles active litigation in a variety of matters. He also works in the firm’s First Amendment & Religious Organizations Section. His practice focuses on civil rights litigation, employment discrimination, clergy privilege, and preventative advice in the area of child abuse and sexual misconduct. Mr. McCann has assisted or argued many appeals, including in the areas of prisoner civil rights, religious freedom, and criminal law. He is currently a member of the Utah Appellate Roster, which provides assistance to indigent members of the community in their criminal appeals.
